Halloween Party

The Hintze family had the Halloween party at their home this year and everyone had a great time. We ate taco soup and had ghoulish treats. April had a spooky fishing pond for the kids, cookie decorating, and a pinata. All the costumes were adorable and the company perfect.

Greta- Student of the Week and Month

Greta loves kindergarten and has overcome her shyness. Her dad and I couldn't be prouder of her. She loves learning and can't wait until she can read an entire book by herself, she isn't far from that.

In her kindergarten class she was student of the week. This is where all the kids get an opportunity to make a poster about themselves with pictures and whatever else they want. Greta's student of the week happened to fall on the same week that her teacher elected her to be student of the month. The principal came in to give her a gift certificate to Applebee's and a certificate for being such a great student. We love you Greta and all that you have accomplished.

Princess Leia Squishy

I was finally trying to organize a room in our basement that is full of baby clothes. As I was going through box after box I came across a Princess Leia costume that would fit Olivia. It was so cute I had to try it on her. I knew Cameron would love it so we kept her in it until he came home from work. Of course he loved it and had to have some pictures taken. She looks so adorable in this costume and now we know what she will be for Halloween, she is the cutest squishy little princess Leia ever!

Alina is on a Roll....

Alina has said and done some funny things in the last few months,is anyone surprised?! Just the other day she was watching a fly and she came up to me and said, "mom I'm pretty sure that fly is a witch in disguise and that it's trying to sneak in our house to kidnap me so we have to kill it." We went on a fly hunt for about 20 minutes. It took so long because she kept changing her mind on what fly was the witch.

I was having her and the kids do chores for a baby shower we were having at our home. Alina looked at me after I gave her her assignment and she said, "It's like we're your servants or something."

We went to the new WalMart by our home and Alina really wanted to buy something because Austin and Greta were. She didn't have any money so I was going to surprise her with a bag of cheetos. On our way out to the car Greta said, "Mom Alina's dress has a big bulge in it." I look down and she does have a big bulge and underneath her dress I found a pack of skittles, a beanie bear, chapstick, post-it notes, and a french tip pedicure set. I made her take everything back in and apologize. The nice old man greeting customers gave her a little lecture and had her put everything back. I just can't believe how sneaky she was, none of us saw her hide a single item.

Alina said to me "I'm going to have 5 boys and 5 girls and all the boys are going to be ugly."

Boyz II Men and the State Fair

I love Boyz II Men, I have since I was young. I even went to their concert back when they were waaaaay popular with my sisters, my cousin Lyndsey and my Aunt Debbie. I always need to hear some Motown music from my boys and I got to hear them again at the Utah State Fair.

Michelle Moser ended up having tickets and gave them to us, thanks Michelle! I was so excited. It was dark and there were a lot of screaming fans so my pictures didn't turn out great.

My favorite member of the band is Wanya, he looks exactly the same as I remembered him and they sounded pretty good. It was a great time, although the kids beg to differ. It was also a great place to people watch, Cam enjoyed that most. There were a lot of crazy fans, especially guys who were singing into water bottles and dancing all over the place. It was great.

After the concert we took the kids to see some of the animals and they had this bull, and he was ginormous, we couldn't believe it!

And then the kids always love the baby animals.

Girls Getaway to California

So Shelley really really wanted to go to California. She planted her little idea in my head along with April's and Hilary's. She kept pushing and asking and making it cheaper for us so we couldn't say no. In the end we caved and she won. We were glad she was so persistent because we had a great time.

Hilary also has a baby named Olivia who is 2 months older and both of them did great on the plane. Since Hilary travels so much she had a whole system down for traveling with an infant and I was glad she was there to teach me how.

We got there and went to lunch on the dock at a mexican restaurant. Then we went and sat at the beach. The walk to the beach from our condo wasn't far at all, which was really nice.

We didn't do much of anything but take naps on the beach, watch chick flicks, go shopping and play in the ocean. It was a great relaxing vacation and I'm glad to have such good friends to go with.

Hilary and I have the same taste in baby clothes. When we went to Cali together in June and went baby shopping everything I picked out Hilary already owned. Then we get to Cali this time and they have the same jammies. Olivia Fitzimmons did not like that my Olivia could sit next to her, she cried every time we sat them next to each other. Cute babies.

Olivia had her first taste of rice cereal and loved it. She hardly even makes a mess because she wants every last drop of it.

Alina's Month Late Princess Party

I had promised Alina a princess party and I kept putting it off, well we finally did it, only a month late. Our little Diva invited more boys than girls...hmmmm...

We frosted cupcakes and I had blue spray icing for the boys to cover their pink cupcakes and all the kids that it was so neat. They sprayed not only their cupcakes but their ice cream as well. They had more fun with that than anything else I had planned.

I made swords for the boys to decorate and crowns for Alina and Brooklin. Greta was really upset about missing the party so I let her stay home from school.
